Major progress

Although the blog has been silent, the work at Domus Rex has not!  We are about 60 days away from being done.  While Alex and I were in Israel in January, our cabinet maker was hard at work in the kitchen, bathrooms and closets.  Along with the trim carpenters, our cabinetry is basically done and ready to be stained.  We chose rift cut white oak for a clean, modern look.  We will stain it a light/medium grey.  Wood floors are installed awaiting stain (coffee color).

We chose our countertops for every surface.  We will be using a quartz product for everything except the guest bathroom downstairs, which will be marble.  We also chose paint colors for the house.  Tile installation is underway and should be done by this week (weather permitting).  Lots of pictures and a master closet video in this blog post.  Enjoy. More to come.
